This Fulbright Award is truly a dream come true. Growing up among neighbors and friends from México, I was enchanted by how Spanish words flow like lullabies and how the tight-knit, community-oriented culture reminded me much of my childhood in Vietnam. My nebulous dream of working in México since then had became solidified by my service with Mexican im/migrants in the Bay Area as well as in Atlanta, my hometown. I am grateful to be in México for the next 9 months and excited for the wild adventures, stories, and growth to share with you.
