Searching for team members + thank you
Hello all,
This week is going to be quite a shift for me as I finish up my full time Fellowship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and start Bing Honors College -and writing up my Fulbright proposal among other things. I have yet to find more team members to help me with EPIC medicine. If you are able to connect me with anyone who might be interested, please let me know!
In terms of the plan moving forward, I will apply for the Stanford CS + Social Good "Studio" in the fall to work on this EPIC Medicine project among others passionate about creating change with technology. This is the first-ever studio focused on social impact projects. In a two-quarter program, they will provide students like me with mentorship, resources, and space to make their projects into a reality. I am glad there is such opportunity.
While all this development and running various projects simultaneously this summer are exciting, I wish I could be doing this sometimes:
My advice to future Sapling Recipient(s) is to be careful about taking on too much. I know I would eventually launch EPIC Medicine. However, the timeline has stretched out a bit longer than I had anticipated.
At any rate, I am still working on the prototype, and expect the site to be completely interactive and usable by end of this month/early October, just in time for new SCOPE users.
Last but not least, I want to say thank you Rob Anderson from TSF for being so patient with me as he checks in from time to time. I really appreciate it. The support helps me realize that I am not doing this alone. There's TSF and over 200 supporters out there wanting me to succeed.
Thank you.
Cheers,
Vy
